Standard across the range, Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS) technology includes an extensive list of both active and passive safety systems. Employing state-of-the-art sensors and a stereo camera, IDAS constantly monitors your surrounding environment for danger. Should it detect a collision is imminent, the system will work to help the driver to defuse dangerous situations via alert systems and automated functions. When Traffic Sign Recognition detects a new speed sone, the IACC can change the vehicle speed and can activate the brakes when brake lights are detected ahead.

Driver Attention Assist

Driver Attention Assist continuously monitors steering inputs and driving behaviour to detect signs of fatigue or distraction. If it senses reduced alertness, it provides an audible and visual warning, helping you stay focused on every journey.

Lane Keep Assist

The Lane Keep Assist system is designed to detect road lane markings and assist steering operation by keeping your vehicle in its lane while Adaptive Cruise Control is engaged. This feature can be disabled.

Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver when the vehicle starts to drift out of the current lane. This feature can also be disabled via the Lane Support System Switch.

Blind Spot Monitoring System

Misacceleration Mitigation helps prevent unintended acceleration at low speeds. If an obstacle is detected ahead and sudden throttle input is applied, the system reduces engine output to help avoid or minimise a potential collision.

Autonomous Emergency Braking

Isuzu's Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) is a core component of its IDAS (Intelligent Driver Assistance System), using stereo cameras to detect vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists to prevent or mitigate collisions.
